Making a Monetary Donation

It’s often misunderstood that Manna receives funding from the federal government, when in fact, Manna is a private non-profit organization that receives no government funding and is solely supported by its donors, local businesses and volunteers. It’s community backing that helps us fund and run all of our programs and services. Because of the generosity of our community, we continue to grow as an organization. Together, we can positively influence the health and economic vitality of our region. Please donate now to reinforce our efforts and improve the quality of life for everyone in La Plata County.

Planned Giving

Planned giving allows donors to give at a more substantial level using other resources such as life insurance, surplus real estate, stocks and securities, or other investments that may incur substantial taxes should you liquidate. We recommend that you speak with an attorney who specializes in estate planning when making these decisions. If you would like to leave a “legacy,” please contact Ann Morse, Executive Director, today at (970) 385-5095, ext. 7 or send an email to for more information on different giving avenues.

Enterprise Zone Tax Credit

Manna has been approved as an Enterprise Zone Contribution Project by the Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC). This designation allows any donor contributions of $250 or more (annually) to be eligible for a 25% state tax credit on cash donations, and a 12.5% state tax credit on in-kind donations such as professional services.
