Throughout the year, Manna offers cooking classes for people of all ages with a range of culinary dishes and flavors. Chef Rebecca teaches the classes in the Manna Culinary Program’s beautiful commercial kitchen. Rebecca offers over a decade of experience as an educator and a chef, having earned her degree in Communications from Northwestern University, and a Culinary Arts degree from Kendall College, in Chicago. She has experience in farm-to-table fine dining in big cities and spent four years leading Cooking Matters food skills education for families at-risk of hunger across Southwest Colorado. My daughter, niece and myself took a cooking class and just loved it! The girls are young adults and I wanted them to learn some proper knife skills, how to prepare sauces, cook a steak on the cooktop and make Creme Brûlée. We also learned how to be organized when preparing a gourmet meal. Both novice and experienced cooks would benefit from the tasty cooking classes that Manna Culinary offers.
